Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ and Samsung Galaxy Note5 Now In The Philippines
Last week, Samsung Philippines again launched their two formidable arsenal in the mobile phone arena. Samsung released their Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Samsung Galaxy Note5 in the Philippines.
Samsung Philippines invited selected personalities from the media, both traditional and digital (blogger) to witness Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Samsung Galaxy Note 5. As Samsung Philippines unveiled the two phones, it is also unveiled officially in other part of the globe; that is in New York where the CEO of Samsung is having a speech to the guest.
This exclusive UNPACKED event was held at Marriott Manila. Led by Business Unit Head for IT & Mobile, Digs Dimagiba, Category Head for Smartphones Ivan Pua, and Marketing Head for IT & Mobile Nio Judalena, Samsung Electronics Philippines gave local media and loyal consumers an intimate introduction, and a chance to be the first to experience the all-new Samsung Galaxy Note5 & Galaxy S6 Edge+.
What are the additional features that comes with both items?
On the technical side of both devices; they are both equipped with a powerful Octacore as to compare with recent release of Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge that comes with quad-core processor. The internal system memory of Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ was upgraded to 4-Gigabyte memory compare to the recent relase of the model of 3-Gigabyte of system memory; with this upgrade, the phone is more capable of multitasking without sacrificing the performance. Storage will be available in 32 and 64 Gigbyte which will store many data which the user will be using in his/her everyday task. The biggest improvement of both devices is that they carry a large amount of battery, rated at 3000 mah, a big improvement for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+; meaning more talk time and more taks to be delivered both multimedia or business. Also, both devices is already running on Android 5.1 as
For those who are into multimedia, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Samsung Galaxy Note5 camera is now equipped with F1.9 Aperture which in photographer's point of view, images are very sharp. This is available for their front and back camera of the device.
As social networking becomes more ubiquitous, consumers expect to share the moments of their lives through photos and video and Samsung is enabling that desire with improved video capabilities.
These include Steady Video, which provides Video Digital Image Stabilization on both the front and rear cameras for sharp, crisp video on-the-go, and Video Collage Mode, which allows users to record and edit short videos easily in various frames and effects. The Galaxy S6 edge+ and Note5 also feature 4K(UHD) video filming and Live Broadcast, which lets users instantly live streams Full HD video straight from the phone to any individual, group of contacts, or even the public through YouTube Live. Anyone who receives the YouTube link from a Galaxy S6 edge+ or Note5 user is able to enjoy live stream video from his or her smartphone, tablet, PC or Smart TV with YouTube connectivity. Since with this capability of the device, hope the Samsung will have a test where both units will be used as a video camera on a certain show to display the capability of the camera as their competitor used on the Burberry fashion show.
Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Note5 users will also benefit from Samsung’s advanced camera system, including Quick Launch (double click the home button to launch the camera in less than one second*), Auto Real-time High Dynamic Range (HDR), and Smart Optical Image Stabilization(OIS) and brand-new filters.
The Galaxy S6 edge+ and Note5 feature Samsung’s fast wired and wireless charging technology and the embedded wireless charging technology is compatible with virtually any wireless pad available today. With wired charging, both devices can be fully charged in approximately 90 minutes, and through Samsung’s latest wireless charger, they can be fully charged in approximately 120 minutes.
Samsung’s newest devices are further upgraded to support SideSync, which offers both wireless and wired PC-smartphone integration for seamless connections across devices. Thanks to auto-detection and an ultra quick setup, users can instantly connect their Samsung device to their PC or tablet for easy access to files and data across all platforms and operating systems.
Another feature that I was impressed at the event is that you can write on the screen of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 even you did not unlock its screen as it was shown in the image below.
Now with all the feature that comes with those devices. Samsung Philippines suprised us by announcing if you will pre-order the units on their Samsung authorized dealers from August 17-30, you will enjoy the following benefits which users will be impress because in the history of mobile business, this is the first time for a mobile device brand offered to the consumer, especially in the Philippines.
For those early adopters Filipinos, you will enjoy a insuracen coverage from Malayan insurance, and additional 2 year extended warranty for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Samsung Galaxy Note 5; they will also give you an UBER Blackride option when you pre-order the devices. Other freebies are fast-chargers and micro-usb connector.
Please be advised that this is a first-come, first-served basis; so I suggest you better go to the nearest Samsung dealer for reservation and for details.
By the way, on the personal experience when we where given the units, all I can say is that the phones are sleeks and sophisticated.
Hope you will enjoy the latest release of Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Samsung Galaxy Note 5
