My Samsung’s Noteworthy Affair

This month, Samsung Electronics Philippines (SEPCO) officially launched the arrival of its newest flagship smartphone: the Samsung Galaxy Note7. Pegged as the smartphone that thinks big, guests at the Noteworthy Affair were treated to an out-of-this-world experience when they finally got to meet the Korean tech giant’s newest flagship phone.

To accomodate the latest flagship of Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy Note7, they held an exclusive event in Taguig where selected few will experienced on-hand the latest smartphone. Hosted by Bianca Gonzales-Intal – who is also an ambassador of the Samsung Galaxy Note7.


SEPCO’s IT and Mobile Business Head, Rhinn Piczon, emphasized that the Note series has come a long way.

Although critics first doubted the Galaxy Note for its large screen and S Pen, the Samsung Galaxy Note7 is proof that perseverance pays off as the tech giant continues to pave the way for innovation, especially in the phablet category.

“Bigger is indeed better when it comes to those who want to get the most out of a single mobile device on their hands, and that’s what we’ve taken into consideration when the Samsung Galaxy Note7 was created,” said Piczon.

“The Samsung Galaxy Note7 is truly the smartphone that thinks big. The phablet combines best of both work and play rolled into one gadget, which continues to provide the necessary tools that every change-maker needs,” added Chad Sotelo, Marketing Director of Samsung Philippines.

Samsung celebrates BenCab’s 50 Creative Years

MANILA, Philippines – National Artist for Visual Arts Benedicto “BenCab” Cabrera is celebrating his 50th year as one of the country’s most renowned artists. As part of the brand’s movement to support the arts, Samsung recently opened an interactive exhibit at the Yuchengco Museum to celebrate the National Artist’s creative milestone. To coincide with the event, Samsung also unveiled the Galaxy Note5 BenCab Limited Edition, of which only 1,000 units will be made available in the market.

“BenCab in Two Movements” captures the National Artist’s transformational, collaborative spirit and his great willingness to push his craft to the next frontier. The show allows visitors to Yuchengco Museum to dance along to BenCab’s collaborator, Polish choreographer Paulina Wycichowska, whose movements are captured in 40 sketches in the 2006 work Studies of Dance Movements. Samsung also unveiled the Galaxy Note5 BenCab Limited Edition—a fine marriage between art and technology. Only 1,000 units will be made available in the market. Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ and Samsung Galaxy Note5 Now In The Philippines

Last week, Samsung Philippines again launched their two formidable arsenal in the mobile phone arena. Samsung released their Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Samsung Galaxy Note5 in the Philippines.




Samsung Philippines invited selected personalities from the media, both traditional and digital (blogger) to witness Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Samsung Galaxy Note 5. As Samsung Philippines unveiled the two phones, it is also unveiled officially in other part of the globe; that is in New York where the CEO of Samsung is having a speech to the guest.

What are the additional features that comes with both items?

On the technical side of both devices; they are both equipped with a powerful Octacore as to compare with recent release of Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge that comes with quad-core processor. The internal system memory of Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ was upgraded to 4-Gigabyte memory compare to the recent relase of the model of 3-Gigabyte of system memory; with this upgrade, the phone is more capable of multitasking without sacrificing the performance. The Galaxy S6 edge+ and Note5 feature Samsung’s fast wired and wireless charging technology and the embedded wireless charging technology is compatible with virtually any wireless pad available today. With wired charging, both devices can be fully charged in approximately 90 minutes, and through Samsung’s latest wireless charger, they can be fully charged in approximately 120 minutes.

Samsung’s newest devices are further upgraded to support SideSync, which offers both wireless and wired PC-smartphone integration for seamless connections across devices. Another feature that I was impressed at the event is that you can write on the screen of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 even you did not unlock its screen as it was shown in the image below.
