I receive a text message from the Philippine telecom giant Globe Telecoms that they are going to test a new balance inquiry system to its subscribers. Before when you are a Globe Telecom user and you want to inquire your remaining balance you will type in to your mobile phone the message "BAL" or "?222" to its number 222.
Globe Telecoms will try to eliminate that by giving its Globe Telecom subscriber a balance alert whenever their load is not enough to make a text message or a mobile phone call.
This will give Globe Telecom subscriber a heads up and to be aware of their load. They did a test run yesterday to all Globe Telecom subscribers. And this test run becomes succesful, Globe Telecoms will implement fully the said system.
