Nokia debut their Android phone: The Nokia X Family

Nokia — Owned by Microsoft — officially launched their Android based phone, the Nokia X smartphone.

The phone are Nokia X, Nokia X+, and their flagship the Nokia XL.

The word "Nokia X" is similar to those crossover in comics and video games titles which is I am seeing right now on this models, it's like a Windows X Android something like that. Anyway, what I heard that this line is in between the economical segment of Nokia Asha phone and the top of the line Nokia Lumia phones.

Nokia X

The Nokia X phone will be considered as the entry level phone for the Nokia, this would be considered as the economical phone.

Small and nimble but still can deliver features which are offered on other Android in the market. It has a 4" display and a 3-megapixel camera for those who want a selfie moment. The Nokia X phone is equipped with a 512 mb system memory and an internal storage of 4 gigabyte and has an expandable slot of 32 gigabyte storage via Micro SD memory which are very common nowadays.

The Nokia X+ smartphone

Well, the Nokia+ phone is an upgraded version of the entry level Nokia X, still the same hardware specification but the system memory is on the 768 mb.

The Nokia XL Smartphone

The Nokia XL would be considered as the top of the line in the Nokia X segment. It has a 768 mb system memory — similar to the Nokia X+ but there is an exemption on the camera which have 5-megapixel at the back and a 2-megapixel at the front camera which is not available on Nokia X and X+ variant.

Nokia X series phones by the way are powered by 8225 Qualcomm Snapdragon on a 1GHz Dual Core processor. The Nokia X smartphones will come with Microsoft Onedrive cloud storage, Microsoft Outlook, and Skype. Other popular apps that are pre-installed in Nokia X phones are Plants vs. Zombies 2, Viber, Vine and Twitter.

Guess we will see more Nokia products in the future when it will be release in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific region.

NVIDIA Tegra Note 7 Tablet: Powered by Tegra 4 Processor

GPU chip maker NVIDIA officially launched their latest product in mobile market that will attract not only the hard-core gamers at heart but also to introduce their technology to those "not-so" hard-core gamer consumer; they introduced the NVIDIA Tegra 7 Note tablet.

Well, for an average individual, this tablet will be just another gadget with another 7" inch screen running on an Android Operating system that will be sold in the market; I think you need to separate this tablet to other tablets because, in the world of gaming and graphics, NVIDIA is already known for their topnotch graphic processor which displays an amzing video output and those guys from those culture and industry can prove that.

Anyway, the NVIDIA Tegra 7 Note is equipped with their latest Tegra 4 along with Cortex-A15 quad-core processor with a 72-core GeForce GPU for its graphics. This device will run on the latest Android Operating system, the Android KitKat. It will come with a 16-gigabyte internal storage and an expandable slot of 32-gigabyte. This is what I like about this tablet that it did not left its gaming roots, they also added an HDMI output to connect this device to your big screen or tv that has an HDMI input port. Also, they added an LTE feature for those who wants internet connectivity.

Other features like 3g, voice, camera will come also as a standard.

I guess gamers will definitely have plan to invest or buy on this device. What I am eyeing on this device would be their display resolution, I mean if I want to watch a high-def video this device will deliver it unlike other devices that is running on Android they are quite dull.

By the way, NVIDIA has already released a list of store which will sell this device, here are the list:

North America: EVGA
United Kingdom: Dixons
Western Europe: EVGA and Gigabyte
Ukraine: Gazer
Japan: Zotac
Korea: Gigabyte and Zotac
India: XOLO
Brazil: Gradiente
China: Gigabyte and Homecare

If your region is not yet included on the list, you have just to wait because this is just the initial release.

Technical Support job for satellite telecoms

This is the real-deal Technical support job in telecoms industry.
Back in early 2000, I own a computer cafe business which earns fair enough for your daily needs — customer will go and hang-out, playing their favorite video game with their friends stuff like that. From what I learn from that experience is that besides just goofing around monitoring your customers, you will also learn to troubleshoot computers and workstations by yourself especially the internet connection which is your "Golden goose"; that's when the term called "Technical support" comes in. Have an experiece also working in a Small-Medium business company here is Asia, well they are a subcontractor of a well known company that offers DSL, Wifi, and other services that involves telecommunication and our task back then is to do cabling and installing communication equipment for them. Do not expect that your salary to be big because in some countries in Asia-pacific your rate will based either on the agreed amount or per-day basis which is also not big, so that's why I left and did turn back again.

Moving forward, when I am just surfing the internet and doing my thing, at the same time looking a job which inclines to my interest — that would be technical support either telecoms or computers like Dell of HP. I saw this page that caught my attention, they are offering a job — still a technical support though — but this is the real technical support unlike those in the Outsourcing industry that you are just sitting on the phone for 8 toxic hour, with your computer taking calls from your customer, dealing with their problem and you are tied with their customer satisfaction survery given by the company or the client whether the issue is resolve or not and if its with the customer or not; what I can say about that is this is more of a customer service not a technical support. What can I say, depends on the culture, because this industry is a major employer for some countries especially in developing countries like Asia-Pacific, at the same time, it is considered a big pay to those who work on those companies; sorry if I got lost trail from what is that job that I am talking about.

Ok, moving forward that job is a technical support but also an individual contractor for that company, by the way, the name of the company is Custom Communication Inc. or CCI for short. They are a subcontractor for Dish Network — they like Time Warner cable or Comcast, your job is to install satellite dish for their customers whether Commercial, Small-medium business, or consumers. That is what I called a technical support like an "onsite" technical support job as used by the technical support in outsourcing or simply called "offsite" technical support.

What this company really caught my attention is that they are offering $1000 for 25 installation, not bad right? You will just undergo a Dish Network certification and you need to have you own van — like Chevrolet Express or any full-size van.

Here are the requirements:

Have own insured vehicle (Van, Truck)
Have a valid drivers license
For Dish Network Jobs you must pass a Dish Network background check, Motor Vehicle Driving Record (MVR) and Drug Test
Click here for Dish Network Requirements
For Verizon 4G LTE you must pass a very similar standard for background check and Drug Test
Have cell phone and internet access
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends

Yet times like this, I will grab this job opportunity.
